SPARC
SPARC (Shelter Placement and Resource Connection) is a 24/7 centralized access point that streamlines access to Chicago’s shelter system and provides immediate support to adults experiencing or at imminent risk of homelessness.
SPARC serves up to 200 individuals daily, with the flexibility to expand capacity as community needs grow.
Through SPARC, individuals can receive shelter placement, diversion and outmigration services, transportation assistance, and access to essential basic needs — including meals, showers, and temporary overnight accommodations while awaiting placement.
By connecting individuals to vital resources quickly, SPARC reduces barriers and ensures access to safe shelter and compassionate care when it matters most.
