Hours vary depending on the site location. SPARC serves as a critical hub for homeless individuals to access emergency shelters and supportive services in the City of Chicago.
The Manager of Individual Giving plays a vital role in the Development Team by growing, stewarding, and managing Franciscan Outreach’s individual donor base. This position manages a portfolio of donors and prospects, leads annual fund campaigns, supports donor cultivation events, strengthens digital fundraising efforts, and maintains high-quality stewardship practices across all levels of giving.
The Case Manager provides case management services, support, and referrals to appropriate services as needed to FO guests. The Case Manager works respectfully with populations experiencing homelessness and understands how to engage people who have likely experienced trauma and challenging life circumstances. The Case Manager completes assessments and accesses community resources and support services; the case manager must be flexible and have computer skills to navigate general use and learn the client database.
The Intake Specialist will provide support with intake and data by delivering housing-focused services for guests, including, but not limited to: facilitating a low-barrier intake and assessment process for new guests and assessing the guest for potential outmigration/diversion/specialized placement opportunities. The Intake Specialist will contribute towards the development of a data-informed and systems-level perspective for the organization.
The Maintenance Support Staff is responsible for providing general maintenance and janitorial services to all the Franciscan Outreach facilities, ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients and staff. This includes performing various maintenance tasks, stocking and receiving, transporting equipment and materials, and assisting with other facility-related activities.
The Finance Director reports to the Executive Director and provides strategic, organizational, and fiduciary leadership for all financial functions of Franciscan Outreach. The Finance Director ensures the organization's long-term economic health, sustainability, and integrity while advancing its mission to serve individuals experiencing homelessness with dignity and care.
